J. Russell Schneider is a published poet who delves into the darkest corners of the psyche. He finds whimsy in the macabre and ghoulishness in the fanciful. Schneider’s poetry has been published in Wayfinder, a fan magazine based on the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. Wayfinder can be found on Paizo.com. He currently lives near Seattle, Washington with his husband, author, F. Wesley Schneider. You can visit him at russellswritersblock-blog.tumblr.com.
Hello all,
I've been a member here since June and have been active on Twitter chatting with everyone. I would like to also take the time to say hello. I posted my author's bio above so everyone can know a little bit about me. I am a published poet, editor, student, and volunteer English tutor.
I want to add a bit about my writing. I do find my voice regarding poetry is unique. I write dark, traumatic poetry, often with whimsical or fantasy themes. I write often about loss, broken trust, abuse, both physical and sexual, witches, devils, and demons.
I have been busy this year and writing multiple poems some which I plan to share here with everyone but some I am unable to do so since I have sent them to publishers.
I do hope to chat with you all and share some poetry. Any questions feel free to ask.
