I'm Her

In the shadows I lived now these days I'm far from it. I see the world remains with color not so much happy ever after. My skin much tougher. Inside the little girl is there. Finding her again. Wild with no care not brushing her hair. Just daydreaming, entertaining, playing. Music still fills the soul, singing. Listen to the lyrics I'm much like them. Speaks to me, it is understanding. I write poetry writing truth and stories. I give and listen to others who need a little pick me up. I'm her. It's who I am.

This poem is humble and confident, embracing life as it is while understanding one's purpose and identity. It is such a beautiful and inspiring vision to witness your spirit basking in the radiance of peace, wisdom, and growth. Thank you, Shellie, and keep on celebrating the magic of poetry...and music!

It is much of who I am and what I'm set out to do in the world. I'm much different as well, and to incorporate it tells people that. Thank you!
