This piece is written about a dawning day and how quickly it passes into dusk. My place in it all. How amazed I am at Gods creation and how fleeting our lives really are. Realising how much I need to start embracing life, enjoy it and be more thankful for what I have. I originally wrote this in April 2020

Another day it dawns Sky gives up the darkness Light stretches out, giant yawn Warmth hugs the land so heartfelt

The black soon turns to blue The battle won by light Triumphant again once more Before again the fight

Of dusk will come again once more Like hours on the clock Passing seconds and hours go by As darkness begins to mock

Blue turns to black with daily cycle Is one thing you can be sure of Unique hours have had their moment Passed by, leave behind the torment

As stars stretch out on magnificent canvas In awe and wonder I gaze I look up and admire your creation Never ceases to amaze

It's when I stare and dream I loose myself completely I realise then my time on earth Like shooting star, so fleeting...
