"Cleanse my heart,
Oh Lord."
"And create in me a clean spirit,"
Oh Creator God,
Who can make something out of nothing,
And I am nothing so dispose of me as You will,
And pour me out like water on a dry parched land
Full of other marred souls.
And grant me the gift of repentance and one sin-free day
That I can give back as a gift to You.
