The Real Thing 💍

There may be those fake diamonds

That sparkle, that shine

As bright as fire itself.

But real diamonds always have those telltale tiny microscopic flaws

That only the Jeweler knows so well.

But He won’t put them on a shelf.

Those diamonds who through pressure and pain

Have finally died to sin and self.

They are perfectly imperfect

For the Master Jeweler’s use

Those imperfect perfect ones

With the love of God so profuse.

The real thing has the Master’s bling

Shining thru its flaws

Because the real thing will live and die for the Master’s brilliant cause.
