Hi I'm new to writing poetry, not quite a year yet, since then I have published about 130 poems on several websites\fb pages, Realistic Poetry and one other being the ones I use the most. I find the support given by this community to be the best i have found, i have made lots of new connections with poets both starting out like myself or poets of thirty + years, i have much admiration and respect for all poets\authors.

I am a published childrens author, having published a childrens rhyming book based on a story I used to tell my children 30 years ago I converted to rhyme and self published it in November 17.

My second book should be out by end of May it follows the same 3 children on another adventure.

When not writing I am an active mum of 3 and grandmother to 3.

I am 56 years old and have been married for 36 years.

I enjoy sports including football, rugby, cricket, formula 1 and speedway.

I also enjoy travelling.

People and places inspire me to write, I write about social events, nature and am inspired by things such as bridges, park benches a leaf on the floor etc. Realistic Poetry have made my journey with poetry fun and have showed great support for all poets.
