In a recent poll conducted last month on the Twitter platform of Realistic Poetry International https://twitter.com/RealisticPoetry, we asked the question, “National Poetry Month is coming to an end soon and we want to know if poetry will continue to be just as important in your life when it's over.”
We were so happy to see that over 90% of the poetry community will continue to write, read and share poetry, even though National Poetry Month has come to an end. That’s exactly what we want to hear! We want poets to continue to express their feelings and voices year-round. Poets have never needed a special day or even an exclusive month to celebrate poetry. We write for the heart, mind, body and soul!!! And that will never stop.
