- My name is Leiany De Oleo and I’m from Puerto Rico. I’m 19 years old and I love poetry. I live for words and appreciate literature in ways the world lacks today. Currently, I’m studying literature at University of Puerto Rico. I self published a short poetry collection and continue to write several different pieces of art in words.

Poetry is important to me because
I love and write poetry because it brings abstraction to life. It embodies feelings and creates a pattern of beauty. I love creations and I love to create and poetry is a way to do both.
