Pretty in pink is what I see

Tell me are these dreams meant for me the paleness the brightness the beauty the shame

Pretty in Pink or is this a mirage is this just a trick are you trying to fool me?

Pretty in Pink that's what I see something not sure something that looks like maybe????

Pretty in Pink you say that's what I see.

They sit upon the table I pass them by,

Each time I look at them I really want to cry.

They are there for forgiveness, but I do not know if I can,

I look at the ring on my finger. The golden wedding band.

Finally I look at the flowers the beauty that I see,

Tears from my eyes as I realize I wish to be free.

I cannot forgive. I remember the anger and the rage,

I drop the wedding band beside the flowers. The final stage.
