How poetic can you be? Write a short poem about what you see

I open wide, in full bloom

A riotous red in a sea of green

I stretch my petals tall and wide, searching for more room

Serenity is nature, like nothing you have seen

Gently floating, almost still. The gorgeous flower gives a thrill. Brilliant colors illuminate the space. Such a private moment just absorbing this place.

Upon the lilly pad the frogs will sing,

Nightly shadows a new rythym they bring.

A splash and a hop the beauty of the flowers,

Such a dainty pad to old such strebth and power.
