Keeper Of The Flame
Miles and miles, twists and turns
Mazes forever, bridges burned.
Intense heat, ashes and dust,
Forever moving, gold’s lust.
A quest foretold, many tried,
None had conquered, many died.
Keeper of the flame, guarded well,
Fiery eyes send you to hell.
Teeth razor sharp, ripping shreds,
Home he is with the living dead.
Skulls of thousands, walls they line,
Snakes encircle as if poison vines.
And still another soul left behind,
The gold awaits another time.
Who so ever be really brave?
Can you take it or meet your grave?

Enter inside the Pharohs lost soul,
Gathered in tombs their blood long since cold.
Mummy's they are called wrapped in cloth of white
Laid to rest with their posessions hidden in pyramids from sight.

A house of bricks, three sides on the floor
An opening outside, no wooden door
Inside tunnels hide themselves and their treasures
Keeping their secrets in great measure
If you can read hieroglyphics you may be in with a shot
Of uncovering a tomb fit for a Pharaoh or a Golden Pot
Mystery surrounds the Pyramids, of course
Don't get too close, myth states there lies a dangerous force
If you awaken King Tut you may be the victim of a curse
Bad luck may befall and you may end up going home in a hearse
Hamza - what a fabulous write, i could picture Egypt
Ancient Egypt has a hold on this place
On its inhabitants, on it's grace
Its a characature of what once was
Untouched perfection like the wings of doves
Majestic it stands proud as it's builders once did
Greatness birthed the Egyptian pyramid
Fit for a God
Quadrilateral based structures
four sides triangular leaning in
Each stone block estimated at 2.5 to 15 tons
around 2.3 million in one
Over 118 pyramids now discovered standing
in Egypt on Giza plateau
stretching down the Nile valley
at the edge of the Sahara desert
These include Cheops Cheprio Mycerinus and Sphinx
surrounded by magnificent monuments palaces and temples
Initiated by Khufu around 2550 B.C.
built fit for supremacy
Pharaohs and Queens expected to become Gods in afterlife
so they were embalmed and entombed
as mummys in preparation for the world
with all they may need to keep themselves there
