Diamonds are a girls best friend
When you proposed and gave me mine, we said there would be no end
We united as one on a burning hot day under the midday sun
but the diamond soon lost their sparkle, and i lost my number one
when you ran off with my best friend, leaving me undone
The sparkle of diamonds shades of ice,
Loves cold heart he begs her twice.
Her head shakes no. Just leave me be,
He offers many diamonds for her eternity.
With a heavy sigh she reluctantly gives in,
He bought her love but now he wants it to end.
Money does not buy happiness he found,
With an ache in his heart and on his face a frown.
More than just a gem.
Colder than ice.
A rock this brilliant,
is worth the price.
