a loss

a pain

something I have to disguise everyday

behind a desk, behind my eyes

I dont want to cry...

and many wonder why

the love, the hurt

that last burst I cried

goodbye

you were always there

loving

teaching

supporting

laughing at my jokes

breathing life into my dreams

teaching me to fly

my denial makes it difficult

to let go

i try to be strong

like you showed me

but i am failing

failing
