The Power of the Vote

Whosoever say his vote doesn’t count

and decides not to vote,

cannot complain about politics

or what the politicians do.

How do the politicians know

the needs of their constituents

if they don’t voice their opinions?

When an election is to be held

listen to the candidates,

make your informed choice,

and vote!

civic involvement

engaged citizens

shape society



Rage against injustice

Racism and exclusions

Be the light

In the dark

Educate the youth

To shine the way

To alteration

Of outdated beliefs

So they can help

Transform the world

Into a better place

No Longer A Fight

A drip and a drop flowing still The coldness of ice setting forth a chill. Ramblings of a madman chaotic visions in his head Forgotten his youth. A past long since dead.

Braver souls than he had tried this trail, Never a success always a heartbreaking fail Oh, how destructive this disease so many tears to cry, And all he can do is ask why me? Why?

Happiness where did you go?

So much pain

So much hurt

So much anger wrapped around my heart

Sometimes I wanna scream

Because it seems like my happiness is gone for good.
