For the most part
Nothing is new
Everything is just evolving
When you realize that
You will understand the current generation
The only thing that changes
Is the role that you play
You were once the youth
That previous generations just didn't understand
Now you are older now
And you may have forgotten that
Yes there are many from my generation
Who could use some guidance
Be patient with us
I don't know why but ignorance
Travels faster to the ear than wisdom does
Youth has a way of making you feel invincible
Humbleness doesn't happen instantly
Let it soak for awhile it will soon
Make it's presence known
It's one thing to hear about it
To go through something is totally different
Maybes that's the reason for the disconnect
Some just have to see for themselves
They can't just get warned the stove is hot
They have to see for themselves.....
