In every room Within my home I keep a shiny metronome. Each one is set To the same beat Which helps me live a life that's Neat. I'm never still But on the go The pendulum swings to and fro One and Two and One and Two and Thus so all that I do is planned I brush my teeth So rhythmically My dentist is so pleased with me And likewise choose The clothes I wear I always look so debonair. The shoes I own Sport such a shine Through thorough polishing in time I eat and drink And defecate In sync with my homes measured rate The function of My whole body Exists in synchronicity This metered life Is one of bliss There's not one second that I miss Even at night When in my bed A metronome is by my head The balanced song It sings to me Ensures that I sleep blissfully. And so my friends You see it's true A metered life is good for you If chaos reigns within your home...
You need to get a metronome.
