Remember when we use to…
Bury each other inside of our feelings
Tears of joy streaming
Once we found out we were not dreaming.

Jealousy tried to kill the thrill
But it went rolling down that hill
Of it doesn’t matter what they say
Flattered that our love will never go astray.
Our love is powerfully driven…
A God given
Right
In light
Of the darkness that surrounded us
Our foundation has grounded us
In plain sight.
Of all that we’ve faced
We’ve embraced
Faith while we’ve waited
Until the raging storms have faded…
We’ve made it.
Now that we are stronger than ever,
