One day out walking in the park It was as if the lights went out; the sky went dark The rain came and the river levels rose high I didn’t know so much rain could be held by the sky The rain fell harder it turned to rocks as it fell The landscape looked as though snow had settled Covering surfaces white, the hailstones lay It had been a very unusual day I reminded myself it was summer; June Let’s hope the sun comes back soon
it's been an unusual June so far, the rain has been a significant part, let us hope it warms up soon. This Poem was penned after my Mum sent me a picture of the hailstones that had settled on her shed roof, last Monday.

Wow, Mother Nature seems to always be full of surprises and this is a great example, Jackie! Thank you for placing us in a different setting by sharing this detailed description in poetic language! Wonderful.
