When people show you who they are, listen up! No need to doubt what they show. Their words and actions are crystal clear, Believe them now and do not shed tears. Energy speaks louder than words, Pay attention and allow actions to be heard. If something feels off, trust your gut, Do not stick around, slam that door shut! It might hurt to turn away, But for your peace? It is okay to stray! Respect yourself and hold tight your ground, In the end, your peace will be found. Pay attention because here is the real deal, People are going to hurt you and that is for real. But here is my advice: Do not let them stay! Your worth is way higher so do not give it away! Love yourself and respect yourself first that is the key! Do not settle for less, listen, don’t you see? That if they bring you down, is time to go, Cut them loose and let them know! Everyone deserves better so do not forget! Hold your head very high and do not fret. Once you realize that they are not good for you,  Wave goodbye and just start new! So keep your chin up and do not dare cry! You are worth more than what meets the eye. Let go of those who bring you nothing but pain, And watch as sunshine follows the rain! They will come back around with a smile oh so fake! But never be fooled it is all a huge fake. They want the gossip, the latest news, To spread your business and use your life against you! You can never turn a snake into a pup, They will bite you again right on the butt. So keep them out and never let them in! Their toxic vibes just ain’t a win. Allow them to meet with Jesus and allow them to pay! For all of the harm they cause to others every day. You deserve better don’t you see? Cut them loose and set yourself free! Love Always ~Marie

I had hope and it all went up in smoke  We clicked like seatbelts  do- re- Mi -fa -so -la- ti  We could have had made music  I go through the introduction phase  I become infatuated and then  We go our separate ways  Am I stuck on repeat ? I'm searching for connection  And I'm feeling lost  I can't reconnect with past flings  And I can't seem to find a new thing  Love only feels obtainable during my dreams  I want love , love doesn't want me  I want her , she doesn't want me  Rejection is a recurring theme in my story 

The pain she holds in her tight chest might be told best by the cold September night’s rain that rolled in from the west. She is the tale of how a mother’s breast once blessed by a babies lonely breath, are remembered now only as crimson stains on a white wedding dress. The blue eyes she has not forgot are realized by a plot topped with potted forget me nots. She fakes her smiles in photo booths, so watchful eyes can see, for she knows if she shows them her truth, it will surely not set her free. Their vision will be her prison, their sight her cell, so it is her decision to spend her nights here in Hell. She must be given to the land of the lost, just as the cost of this loss demands, so she stands chained to a tiny cross with shiny bloodstained hands. A mother’s love above all others has been smothered in sin. The good Lord weeps and the Devil grins.
