Thank you Cynthia.
Beautifully put Samantha
The hills and valleys,
color and trees,
So much beauty
Its easy to see...
The crayons colored,
a perfect picture
using oranges and greens and violets,
the perfect mixture.
The breathtaking view,
where hearts roam,
This is what I want to be
the place I call my home.
Cynthia your poem is so beautiful as always
Whisper
Whisper my heart, whisper of peace,
Each breath I take gives me something I need.
I see the beauty of an amazing sunrise,
An artist’s colors, visions before my eyes.
Forests of green trees so tall and strong,
Green leaves turning gold, but not for long.
Soon they will fall, bare will be the land,
Such earthly beauty painted by Father’s gracious hand.
I am thankful for the scene that brings me solitude,
The moments of my own that lighten my mood.
Tis indeed a sight rarely seen, a feeling rarely felt,
And I thank God this is the hand I was dealt.
