I put my heart into the stringed instrument
Otherwise, I'd have no air to breathe
No heartbeat
This is what's left of me
Jaded. Cold. Silent.
Will someone hear me?
Music of the heart, play me peace,
Strength in the soul sweet, sweet release.
Soothe me, calm me, kiss my tears away,
love me this night, my love please stay.

Chamber Music
In his arms he held me too him
Cradling my neck and body
Running his fingers
Arousing my notes
Caressing with his bow
He mastered his movements
Positioning me gently
Loving me so
Sweet music he played me
The passion it moved me
And built screaming crescendo
When we danced so slow
My eyes see an old violin,
Unpolished, scuffed...
And more, I see two hands
Pick it up.
The fingers, the bow, and the violin
Form my soul into a cup
And with haunting refrains
Fill it up.
