The snake and the Lilly shared a pond. A symbiotic relationship they carried on. The snake would hide neath the beautiful flower, till a female-frog came by let's say in about an hour. The snake would strike and eat the frog, but its eggs he would expel. For the beautiful flower Lily, needed to eat as well..
Purple Pond
Looking at the pond,
I see a purple camouflaged frog
jump into the water from
the dark blue lillypad
while a pink waterlily
gracefully blooms.
A beautiful sight to behold.
My piece of heaven
Yes, it’s just over there on the other side of the hill
There’s a grove of trees that hide it from the road
It’s an idyllic place; I go there to be at peace
The pond has no name; it’s not all that big
But the birds and other animals love the place
As you stand on the bank, you’ll notice the blueness of the water
There, near the shore you’ll find water lilies galore
A Monet work of art
The shadow of trees reflects from the water and provides shade from the warmth of the Sun
Here I sit and ponder my fate; as the illusion of this lake takes hold of my soul
Yes, it’s just over there on the other side of the hill
I hope soon to be free from these prison walls, away from my cell where the calendar hangs, of Monet work of art
My death sentence near, I walk that hall tonight, then after that
I’ll be free to walk over that hill to the other side, and stand as a free man on the banks of a pond where water lilies reside

I see mystery
Light dancing with color

The Frog’s Serenade
So peaceful and still the water just before night,
No hustle and bustle it is almost quiet.
I do hear a frog singing with his deep voice,
Looking for the lady frog of his choice.
Lilly pads ride the waves as frog’s serenade,
Crickets began their chirping as daylight fades.
Breathe. Take on natures sweet nightly sounds,
Come on, relax, pull up a chair and settle down.
Breathe.

On the alluring horizon of mother rose
I met you with an enchanted nose
Where the still waters hissed welcome
On dafodils happiness we have come
We shall dwell here for a thousand years
I'd love you in a thousand ways
Our long love dream
Coloured in reality like a beam.
Once I push through the perfection of the water lilies
past the bay where the water grasses grow as thick and as tall as corn
silence and the peace greet me like a long lost friend
like going home again
You can toil all day and night,
But it's in stillness does beauty trive.
Sing your songs,
Beat your drums,
But once the day is done
Be still and retain that day's wisdom
