Beacons..... My life was a nightmare because of bad dreams. They seemed so real, I could not stiffle my screams. They persisted and I, could not keep them at bey, But this was His call to me, Yes, this was his way. Some come by guidance, from Family and friends, some not at all, It just depends. But i was a hard case, like as rock or like stone, i soon came to realize, i could not go it alone. that's when I Saw her, Or maybe she saw me, all i knew was this, was so meant to be. I knew it was right, This joining of us, building a bond, with no need to discuss, We realized We, were each-others best friend, And the nightmares departed and we could at last Dream again. a forward step each day, with no want to turn back, We were meant for each-other, Just a plain natural fact. No wants, no needs, no nightmares to plague, We Became each-others Beacons, Lighting each-others way... glen rudge
“Ray of Hope”
I know you live in Paradise
Of this I'm quite convinced
I search each night the darkened skies
For just one fleeting glimpse
Until we meet, I'm all alone
Surrounded by my pain
As you drift through the heavens
I pray; we'll meet again.
A Light in the Sky
Back in the day, I mean way back in the day, when I was young I would take a walk to check out the stars and moon that shine
In the early evening sky, just after the Sun said goodnight
I would walk up the hill that was nearby, not too far from where I use to reside
I had my trusty flashlight to guide the way
On this hill in an open field away from the trees that line the distance silhouette, I could see into the heart of the Milky Way
Shooting stars would flyby, I would signal them in the night sky with my light
Up there I knew there must be other living things on plants that travel around distance stars, just like ours
I used to dream of life far out in space, would they be like us or of a different race
Or maybe they’d be a new form of life, something we’ve never seen before
Then I used to wonder what if they knew where we are, could they have come so far, to visit us
Then the unknown brought fear, and then I would wonder would they come to eat me
The last time I climbed that hill at night, with my flashlight I remember it still, just like it was yesterday
I shined it into the sky when a shooting star went by
But on the next morn, my father took my flashlight away
Seems my flashlight pointed at that shooting star
In reality that star was not a star, but a plane and FAA called to complain
My bright light to signal to alien life forms, was blinding a pilot
But in a strange turn of events, we later learned that the FAA had not yet been created

I can't see into forever
But as I look up at the sky
I am overcome by euphoria
Stars sprinkled into the purplest of skies
It's all I can see at that moment
It's all I need to see
I shine a light into the violet mist
And cast a shine that will last forever

The Angel of Magic
His travels take him near and lead him far away,
A touch of magic, twist of fate, in his hands it lay.
No rest for him, but none he would ever need,
An angel of God doing the world a good deed.
He can walk through the air, searching for laughter,
To make the world happy, is what he is after.
Sultry people, his hatred is of misery, and ills,
He makes them laugh till their soul is filled.
It is not rabbits pulled from a hat, nor a cards memory,
It is hope, happiness, friendship, the longing to be free.
He will find you and replace your frown with a smile,
And in the end his magic makes it all worthwhile.

Twinkle-twinkle little star" Where the hell is you are?
Way up there in that sky somewhere, is it true God can see my underwear?
"Twinkle-twinkle-little-star" Just where the hell is you are?
