All dress in white, with a beautiful lace veil, a Crown
Of pink roses upon her head
There were lots of friends and family to enjoy this beautiful celebration
Yes, that day of the wedding was full of bliss; they had a very short time to enjoy
The honeymoon was put on hold; both were Civil Right Lawyers that is how they met, a few years ago
They made their home in a southern town
Now in a fight for others rights, for their freedoms struggles
Then they took on the man; a corrupt person with lots of power
He control the wealth in this town, he own the politicians and the police
He used his position to take advantage of the local minorities and even the poor white folks
He had a gang he use to intimidate and control, he ran the rackets
He use drugs and prostitute to keep the Black people down
All the local businesses paid him for protection.
These two married lawyers working with their Civil Right group
To bring this corrupt man down
But one night her husband and two of his white young assistance, were in their car driving south on the interstate
The three were heading to speak with someone who had some dirt on the Man they were working on, it was a setup
Just a few miles from town a police car pull them over, the cops said to the three, let’s see your licenses
Then two more police cars show up, the officer said get out and lay on the ground, the three complied
The police at closed range open fire into their heads, as the blood flow onto the road
The cops laugh and turn and drove away
There was a short mock investigation, but nothing was done, even though everyone in town knew the men, that did the crime
But she would not give in nor would her friends
The crime caught the eye of the FBI, once in involved things begin to fall, like a stack of playing cards, as the FBI brought civil rights violation against several of the defendants
Now that young married widow was a Justice Department attorney working with the crime task force, and was helping find the evidence, she got hunch, from information that came from an informant
She brought in a retired cop, after telling him what they had; he broke down in tears and confessed
He told it all, brought down the man
In the end she walked down aisle, she fought for her man and won!
A THOUSAND WAYS
there are a thousand ways to say
I LOVE YOU
but the best way I know how will be
The day I say
I DO
you have given unto me a new reason to feel
And a forever smile
You have risen me from the depths of
Unforgiveness
And taught me to understand
When things go wrong
You have walked within my soul
And stood beside my dreams
You took hold of my hand and guided me
You have created an unforseen world
That has became my reality
There are a thousand ways to say
I LOVE YOU
but the best way I know how
Is today when I say
I DO.......

Was so nervous I
Forgot the words
Beautiful love this
With this Ring
Two beings,
two separate karmas,
two different backgrounds,
become one intertwined existence.
They won't go back to who they were.
They will put aside prejudices for
the sake of harmony and growth.
They will be humble as they
learn and understand each other.
They will stay together
like limestone rocks
and eventually become marble;
smooth,
polished,
colorful
and inseparable.
They profess a love that is an example to all.
Their message is to learn from one another,
putting aside prejudices
and understanding those
who are different.

Thank you Cynthia
Great story Gil. Justice triumphs
Thank you, so much, Gil
Very beautiful Cynthia
Together as One
Joining as one the warmth of his hand,
Knowing forever he would be her man.
Eyes touched, held, smiled,
They would be united in a short while.
Love’s flame with a spark so bright,
Hearts touch a true love unite.
A vow to love and be forever true,
A softly whispered, “I love you.”
