We lived our lives filled with fun; we spend our youth on the run.
Yes, those times were treasured memories that come to mind from time to time.
We proved our manhood in many ways; but it was that one time way back then when chances we took almost took us down
You know the time we climbed, that rock that stood the test of time
Everyone who tried failed to reach the top, but we did it my old friend
I was weaker and just a skinny kid back then, all the kids would push me around, and you my friend would knock them down, you let them know not to pick on me.
Yes, that day we climbed that rock, all the people took stock, and they were all shock at what we did.
But the truth my friend, is we almost fell to our death
But it was you my best friend; as the Sun faded into the night
Just before we reach the top
You made that last lift to the top
But I begin to drop, as I slip down the rock, your hand grab mind. Yup, you save the day
We both reach the top
As the Sun dip behind the distant mountain ridge.
We were always the very best of buds, and we will away be.
Now I think how funny things were back then
When I see you now
Back then you were just the tall lanky girl, a tomboy in every way.
Now as I stand next to you and see the beauty that is you
In that gown of white, with a crown of flowers in your long brown hair I realize once again
You save my life, with your hand in mind, but this time rings of love we do wear!

Reach
The glamour of life tarnished and hollow,
No glitter nor glory, heart filled with sorrow.
A failure. A captive in a world of your own,
Head games, chasing dreams that are gone.
Rise up. Reach for my hand. Stretch. I am here,
Cast out your demons. Smile. Pray. Conquer your fear.
You are not alone. My hands will be a guiding light,
Thanks Cynthia
I love it, Gil.
A True Bond
Those days seem so long ago
When we were young, and had no care
We lived our lives filled with fun; we spend our youth on the run.
Yes, those times were treasured memories that come to mind from time to time.
We proved our manhood in many ways; but it was that one time way back then when chances we took almost took us down

But the truth my friend, is we almost fell to our death
But it was you my best friend; as the Sun faded into the night
