Somewhere on the streets of America The deserts of Africa The alleys of Turkey A child struggles to survive.
In the big and not so big cities of America Dumpster diving is the thing of the day Finding a little something to eat Beats the alternative
Selling their bodies for change
Somewhere a child awakens In a desert in Africa Hungry and abandoned Hoping to survive
Not knowing where their next meal would come from
In the alleys of Turkey Where strangers buy trinkets to send home A child trys to sell homemade bread All the while dodging police
Knowing he better not come home without the money
These children are our future And many more are in this predicament We can't leave any child behind Ever.
