It is You in Your mighty power, The favor that safeguards me against an army endless in length!
Who can withstand You, God of Israel?
Thy shield cannot be pierced by the sword of Thy enemies!
Who would dare face such danger? Who safeguards their pride on the wide path to destruction?
The Shepherd of creation, The Builder of nations!
What have the nations done in their folly?
Why do they pursue vengeance in eternal shame?
How can they mistreat Daughter Zion in arrogance?
Woe! Woe to those who seek blood lust in depravity!
Who scheme for bribes and accept gifts for the price of injustice!
Do murderers take hold in Thy temple?
Does a beast from Babylon seek refuge in repentance?
Can Leviathan unhook itself from Thy rod?
Can a nation stand against Thy might?
Does an ostrich forget her clumsiness by forsaking you?
Do the nations forget Thy awesome power?
Do the thunders amongst the heavens pierce without warning?
Do the raindrops fall without Thy Consent?
Does the storm happen for no reason?
Do the four winds of Heaven rush without guidance?
Does The Captain forget his faithful crew?
Can the wicked become everlasting?
Do the poor not have their Defender?
Do the Stars shine light without Thy Guidance?
Do the tides stray deep into the shore without Thy command?
Does the moon pull the tides back without Thy orders?
Does the sun not set because you will it?
Is the Sabbath not Holy because you proclaim it?
Can mortal man come before you as blameless without Thy Son, Lord Jesus Christs defense?
Oh Lord, My Faithful Shepherd! Be jealous of me!
Do not forsake me to my enemies!
Keep me safe in the hour of trial!
In You, my repentance places me in refuge!
In Your Arms I find security!
Blessed be Thy Name, Lord of Hosts Yahweh and Jehovah!
