Bella was special, so very sweet
Like no other dog I'd ever meet
We found her at the shelter zoo
She circled around us peeing on my daughters shoe
She was next in line to go to heaven,
She had a dog tag on her with the number seven
We decided to take her home,
around our house oh she did roam
out of the 16 years we had her one day
A chase ensued and a squirrel did spray
throughout the house an aroma stayed
Bella seemed rather shocked that squirrel had sprayed
Another funny thing about Bella's brand
She learned how to yawn on command
Not one person ever met her that didn't love her,
but when you got around her strange things did occur
One day there was a knock at our door,
the little boy stood outside from next door
After 16 years and memories of a full life,
Bella got sick despite her strife
in 16 years not once did she

ever bite anyone or me
So when it was time for her to go
anyone that knew her felt really low
Bella will always hold a special place
in our hearts we can't erase.
They bring us so much joy, unconditional love. enjoy the memories.
Thanks for understanding, I love that dog so much still
our pets are like family, ive had dogs all my life, having to let them go is one of the hardest things in life, but better to spare them pain. A beautiful piece, thanks for sharing it with us all
Thank you Cynthia for your comment
We've had to put down two dogs in our life. The vet said keeping them alive for our pleasure while the suffered was cruel. It's not easy to get over that is for sure.
So sweet and so sad
