fragments of my memories
scattered all around
and I can't feel found
as i stand my ground
staring at void
within a void
within emptiness
I see links to my past
some real
some deceptive
my mind is hyperactive
then her eyes
sparkles in the darkness
like a thought
in a drunkard's brain
i'm feeling insane
i want you back
i want us together again
fragments of my memories
like a broken mirror shards
cutting deep into the palm of my hands
defines what the future holds for me
as the oracle reads the lines
words of compensation
but the muscle of her face
hides more than she says
roaming my course
depending on this non reliable source
sigh
only if i can
tell the truth from the lies
A mental verbal abstract of figments of your imagination - or reality? Though it is a bit elusive, one thing is made clear. The desire of the heart. Great poem. Hamza!
