For days the struggle lent me anger a rage beyond any before, Casting shadows here, and yon, there and near, awakening deaths lore. I search for you. I call for you, I cry for the delusion of what has passed, I have no answer. I know not where to look, and my heart lost still lasts.
My heart was yours at a time before, at a time when love really mattered. He won your soul, you took my spirit leaving my life broken and battered. Many days, many years, I watched as he tore you down, saw your broken spirit, Then your disappearance shattered my exitance, I call to your heart, But I can not hear it.
Thunder’s echo high upon the mountain top lightnings sweet release, And still I search for you, still I cry, still I call, still, I find no peace. My heart starts its beat again, not steady, not loud, but oh what a start, There under the ledge of the rock, deathly quiet, you are hurt and it tears me apart.
But you live and my heart now becomes a steady beat. I hold to you tightly,
And with tears trickling from eyes trailing my face, I smile and kiss you lightly.
I LOVE YOU STILL.
