I don't have the gossip gene in my DNA
Don't bring others business to my attention
I couldn't care less if my name was "blatant neglect"
I never felt the need to make the rumor mills churn
I treat everything like a test
I keep my eyes on my own paper
If I don't know the answers
I don't lean on others to find them
I'm a rare breed in this invasion of privacy society
I don't have to see someone else fall for myself to rise
I sit in a crowded room and I hope you don't notice me
I never announce my arrival
I hate attention
I pass the baton and let someone else run the race
I still clutch my faith and morals firmly
If you think differently I won't bicker with you
Or try to sway your mind
We will always get along as long you mind your business so I can mind mine .....

A rare breed, indeed.
