Hi, my name is Lissie

I`m a mother for four wonderful children ( well they`re really in the 20s lol)

a blacksmith, a cater at the zoo, a land management graduate and a musician ( bassist)

After their father died I found I couldn`t talk to people and was advised to write my feelings down. That was 11 years ago and now that I`ve found poetry, I find myself a published poet, helping others who have or are going through bereavement. I feel my husband is still with me and that I am invigorated too.

I love sharing poetry with others and enjoy this website so much.
