I am a man of 36, alone and very scared. I put my trust in a rope I tied around my head. Whilst holding a picture of my child I closed my eyes, I cried. I can't go on living with the sadness With no where left to hide. I talk about mental health, To anyone who listens Ive felt people shake my hands Ive seen there eyes glisten. Ive wondered what it must be like to feel, again like there's no way. To think that I would rather die, than live another day. As the rope got tight, I felt the power, of light slipping away. Then I received a txt, saying don't give up. Just make it through today.

Letting you in was the hardest, Of all the things I've done, Very much I love you, Even though you broke my heart.

Did you hear it Did you feel it Or even notice the change Did you see the happiness On its way out the door The silent echoes of my pain. Was it it crack, or a bang Was it too loud to hear Or was it just a whisper That touched you when you came near. I'm not bleeding but I'm bloody I'm not screaming but I cry I'm not lonely but I'm alone I'm not tierd I'm just scared. Did you hear the sound of heartbreak When you said those words to me When you took away your love Did you think my heart would be free. When you left did you look back Or did you just turn and run Did you hear the sound of heartbreak When you shot the bullet from your gun.
