You have many flavours you can lick. Over eating it makes you sick. Gelato sounds more delizioso! The real fruits, tastes much sweeter. Real fruity and sweety! Merry Cherry odor the best to devour. Savour the realness in flavour! Marie-Eve Cote Ó 2020 - https://www.realisticpoetry.com/profile/mevemedia

My zodiac sign is capricorn, mountain goat ascendant. My zodiac sign is capricorn, mountain goat ascendant. Like a mountain goat I strive to reach the highest mountain. I climb and climb until I can reach the biggest star. I starve and crave to make my empire like Nicki Minaj and reign like Preign. Throughout this beautiful journey there may come stick and stones that will try to break my bones. Being a mountain goat I pull a few tricks out of my bag and use my strong, hard head and horns to bump into them and break their bones. As a mountain goat I surround myself with earths natural and beautiful creatures that will help me survive through its ugliest storm. After the storm a rainbow will form and I will find my pot of gold and my dreams will unfold. Until that day comes like a goat I will work hard day and night. I will walk along this long never ending road like a mountain goat aspiring for something bigger and better to happen. I will never loose sight until I reach that big beautiful, shining star. My road has already been drawn and little by little my dreams are almost reality. Therefore, like a goat I follow my intuition because tomorrow isn't promised. I live in the moment spontaneously, full of positivity because I know things will happen already proven! Nicki Minaj & Preign came from nothing to being something from the hood to Hollywood. If they could I could, headstrong like a mountain goat! Background: Dreaming Mountain Goat comes from my zodiac sign "Capricorn," this poetry reveals the characteristics of the sign being headstrong, dreamy and never gives up to obtain what they are most passionate about and love. Work hard day and night to make their dreams become reality no matter what comes their way. For myself it is living the passion and feeding myself through art in every aspect and form. Is like the wind that caresses your skin with its soft blow. You can feel it even when you cannot see it. It gives you the feeling of hope and wonder. Endless love is like painting with colors of the wind bringing a palette of never felt emotions; that paints a smile on your face with one embrace you feel like you can fly and reach new dreams that were still floating on a single cloud. Two souls that collide to make something magical together as one. Bringing on inner growth to on another to become the person that this love has pictured you to be in a dream. Love that is pure, gentle and understanding. A love that brings security, patience and happiness.. A love with peace, harmony with no jealousy. The love that enables the co-existence of the universal word of love. Sincerely, with love, Marie-Ève Côté

What comes to mind when I say perfection? No deficient, deficit, deficiency. No deform, deformation or deformity. Perfection is unreal, superficial and judgemental. Perfection will surface when people come together no matter the colour, size and way of thinking. Perfection will be when people put aside difference and stop judging. Perfection will be when everyone help each other out to advance in society. Perfection will be less than just a word, when negative thoughts will turn to positive thoughts. Perfection will appear when jealousy and envy are removed from daily vocabulary. Perfection will be in effect when people throw hate away and love will be the way. Perfection will exist when love takes over and war will be over. Perfection will happen when the richer help the poorer to end poverty. Perfection will be when each nation come together to find a real cure for illnesses and sicknesses. Perfection is when natural disasters will be erased by people who come together and end pollution. Perfection will surface when everyone love each other, come together to heal the world. Perfection is just a word for now to emphasize how you love someone or when you get an excellent grade but to say someone is perfect, that is unreal. No-one is perfect, we learn something new each day. To say "I am perfect," those are lies, nice tries! I am Caucasian, as white as snow, but somehow I don't blend in with my own culture! I feel like I blend in more with a Black. They judge me for my skin being pale, not tanned enough. I try to tan, buy lotions that make me almost look orange! One day I looked almost Black, they implied! I guess it is because I am fully bilingual, knowing French and English. I watch English television back home until someone tells me to skat, like a cat, only french shows are aloud. How can a person be judge mental towards a language that is universal and towards how pale my skin looks? In other cultures I am told I look like their own, I feel touched and blessed. Other cultures treat myself like their sister and brother. I am not a difficult person, I try different foods no matter how hot they are, until my voice turns Black! I like to listen to hip-hop, watch The Black Entertainment channel and as soon as I do so, back home they insist I will marry a Black! I have a lot of Black friends so might as well marry a Black! Maybe my family would stop the prejudices for this beautiful nationality if they got to know a Black in the depth of their soul. They would find a person that has soul, passion. A person that has it in them to have rythm and is a good dancer! A person that would never trade their own for a pot of gold. Or make their own do all the labor, what happened to sharing? I feel like history repeats itself, the only difference is I am White like them! The days when a Black was traded in under ground tunnels to be slaved and put through labor. Somehow they still see a Black being under them! I see a Black as being brave, not afraid to fight for their Rights and for their Freedom. I guess my family judges depending on what they see on TV, seeing gang members, stealing causing fights. Instinctively, they think it's a Black, when it's the total opposite. Ironically, a white person can do the same! Instead of putting a label on someone that is different, they should label their own, instead they diss-own their own! No one is better than another or inferior, the only difference is color! Yes we are White, they are Black! Like Michael Jackson once sang, "It Don't Matter If You're Black Or White...I Said If You're Thinkin' Of Being My Brother, It Don't Matter If You're Black Or White!" As long as we have each other's back and when one falls, someone will be in the back to catch them before they hit the ground and see a White light at the end of the tunnel that is Black! Black History Monthly, let us celebrate a beautiful heritage in Montreal, Quebec! :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2AitTPI5U0 (c) Marie-Ève Côté ‏Poetry 2013 :) Background Summary: This piece a poetry goes in depth of coming from a White family that still has some prejudices with cultures and Blacks. I wish I could make them understand that Quebec is suppose to be a multicultural province and that we are known for having a lot of immigrants, which makes our province beautiful. Instead we welcome them by giving jobs that are less than the degrees they have earned from their studies in their country. A doctor from another country will become a taxi driver in Quebec. Even a perfectly bilingual white person with a college D.E.C of 3 years has difficulty integrating in a Quebec system that still strongly supports the 101 Charter, French before English, when it should be equal. I would love for my family to understand. My mom had a Quebecer boy friend who still strongly believes in the 101 Charter and talks about other cultures and diss-inigrates them, and I have to keep my mouth shut, when I know it's not right! The believers of the 101 Charter believe that Quebec should be seperated from Canada and this has been going on for years and has not happened. This goes to prove that we need to be there for one another, no matter the color. I put the emphasis on "diss" forward to emphasize the importance of the word and the negativity it projects. For now I was inspired to write this poetry to inspire others who think like me and share universally. The emphasis on Black or White, through the use of Capitalization. Whites talk of immigrants coming to Quebec, being with no jobs and having babies only. Whites capitalizes a lot on how the soul capital, which is "money" is given more to cultures and divided unevenly, when the reality is that we are only sharing amongst ourselves, through times of crisis. As much as Whites emphasize this, they are blinded to see the lack of resources, jobs being cut and Black or Whites all go through the same situation. Immigrants moving in Quebec because their own country is being ripped apart by: war, natural disasters, etc. If we do not create peace and acceptance among one another, there will always be revolutions. The 21st century, migrates around how much money one can make, when it is scarce. We crave to make more and go to extents of hurting one another or become stress and sick. In conclusion, I believe the "barter system", which is a method where we would exchange goods for services, should be brought back! Sadly to say "Gold" not long ago has become the sole "God" to some. There should be more giving and loving, society should stop living and thinking, "Black or White?" Black or White, should become "Bright" and "Colorful". Bring back what is still free Love & Compassion, the only medium today left that brings happiness is music and art! Yet for some art and music is also looked down upon because again "money" does not come easily, one thing for sure it brings people together to enjoy life! Another prejudice comes among artists as well. All I can say is live your dreams and what makes you happy! Happiness has no price tag and brings color to a world that to some is still "Black or White." To me the world is about Black and White coming together through the art of music!

Life is a chess game, I have to get this off my chest. There are the kings and queens who control the system, Monopoly. The knights to protect our honour. The horses whom run free from sunrise to sunset, free spirit. Then you have the people whom have to watch their every move. The wrong move will get one a penalty or check-mated. The game of chess, mind boggler, thinking wisely and consciously. It takes practice and knowledge to fully understand it. Cheat once and you will live to regret it. Chess game, learning to know your adversary just by the moves they make, piece of cake! It takes time, patience and resistance. The essence of truly getting to know the rules and live by them. Comprehend and apprehend to move forward through trial and error. Going backwards will only direct you back to square one, living in the past. Moving forward with positive thinking will definitely direct you to the goal and your ultimatum towards your glory! Life is a game of chess, it can be a mess and cause turbulation which sets in with no regulation. One must read the instruction to go by and convey to obey! My parents have been separated by the evil called gambling I’ve been having nightmares ever since that day They were heavenly matching Mom knew the exact words to say While dad could cook almost anything But now that they’re love faded my dad couldn’t stay Sometimes I wish I could turn back time to change everything But I guess when something happens it happens, I can’t change nature’s way My mom tells me that if they stayed together she’d still be suffering Because my dad hardly had any money to help her pay Everyday I’d see them fight and my mom was left crying From now and until this day My love for them will never be left dying every single day Even though I don’t see my dad everyday Description This sonnet is talking about my parent’s divorce. I wrote that my dad had gambling problems, so when it came to paying something he was broke. My parents would always be fighting about their money problems every day. Until one day my mom got fed up, so she went to get divorced because it made her sick and cry. At the same time I added my wishes of having my parents back together. Also that I can’t turn back time even if I want them together. They were perfect together, my dad cooked and my mom baked deserts. What happened, happened and I will always love them through good and bad times. Like the sun he shines through the day They say love makes you blind but I've only been starring at the sun up high Soon that beautiful sun will drift away To let the moon and stars take his place to light up the black sky He is the nicest of all stars I wish I could stay until the next day They remind me of his eyes just the way they shine when I look at them If only he didn't live so far away At night my head fills up with the sweetest dreams of this memorable gem For he came and changed my world just the way seasons change nature's way The way you see nature going a whole new way just by one change of them Like when flowers start opening and trees leaves growing I know that it is the month of May He is sweeter then the sweetest strawberry in the field far away As long as the long nice days are here to stay He will always be in my heart even if he lives far away Description This sonnet talks about this guy who lives far away that I met. He brings joy and happiness to my days when I talk to him. At the same time I'm comparing nature's beauty to him, like when I look at the stars I see his beautiful brown hazel eyes shining when I look into them. Also, the way that he is really nice and sweet more than the sweetest strawberry. Everyday I can’t stop thinking about him, even when I sleep. On the other hand he lives in Toronto which is really far, but it doesn't stop me from giving him a place in my heart. I wrote this kind of sonnet to show that long distance love can exist. To conclude my dad once had a love from Vancouver and they talked on the internet and phone, anything is possible.
