Falling sands show the passing of days hours trickling swiftly away as the chimes call, and the hands creep the days turn to weeks A four walled cave, as the moon takes its place replaces the sun, in a constant race darkness to light to dark again in the blink of an eye a whimper turns to a sigh, as the morning birds take to the air and fly Repeat to fade, the tides that wave goodbye to yesterday say hello to tomorrow it will be here briefly, then fade into obscurity a photograph blurred by years of reprinting as the hours fly past sprinting The fleeting freedom of the suns rays beating evaporates the tears and lifts a smile in greeting a friendly reminder that the world is still turning that the end is not here and the future is full of learning Check Out My Blog Https://wordsandfluff.blogspot.com Facebook https://www.facebook.com/wordsandfluff/ Twitter @kylecoare My Books are all available on Amazon, Check them out if you wish https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kyle-Coare/e/B07GWQTN4M

I will meet you where our dreams collide you will hold me tight make the tears stop falling, stem the tide bring me a smile, make it all seem right I'll see you on the clouds, where in dreams we dance you will look into my heart make the day go forward, help the clocks advance give this life a kick start I'll see you on that beach, where sleep turns to visions you will take me sailing on the oceans, the seas of the night we will shout out our wishes, our hearts provide the provisions on a boat made of pure moonlight, we will fall into midnight I will be there when dreams turn to smiles when the darkness no longer circles, we wont fear the long road just happily walk those long miles holding on to life, we will walk unbowed I'll wait in dreams alone, for you to turn in and join the glow because I know that you sleep under the same sky the same stars put on their show and full moon bathes your room in the same moonlight, watches you cry Thanks For Reading, Peace & Love, Kyle. We are all stories, a page torn from a worn book a storm cloud over a steady brook words give a glimpse inside, a glancing look at a heart torn, ripped and shook I let the waste waters flow over my soul heart burned as acid rain pours from clouds of charcoal I let your curses infect my head, my pride, my art let your words tear my world apart The pieces you find, they give me peace of mind spent too long looking inside, to the outside I'm blind I try to see the beauty outside the cage in which I'm confined a world that can so often feel unkind, as cold rains remind I tore a new page, clean and clear, let new words appear stoked new fires, found people that inspire the seeds to grow into flowers not weeds or creepers sent to devour found those that set smiles free not on the lips where they can lie, smiles that live in the eyes for all to see And the blink of an eye no longer brings a shed tear but a raised cheer, at the possibility of a universe to revere Check Out My Blog Https://wordsandfluff.blogspot.com Facebook https://www.facebook.com/wordsandfluff/ Twitter @kylecoare My Books are all available on Amazon, Check them out if you wish https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kyle-Coare/e/B07GWQTN4M

Take to the skies like a phoenix, you rise beautiful and bright, clever and wise you live to see the smile in others eyes You soar so high, a bird in flight above the crumbled wastes of a world in fight avoiding the dirty ground, you land in a tree a reminder of natures beauty, a world that should be free You swoop so fast the barrier of sound is passed a supersonic blast, a seismic shock wave cast on the ground below, a quake to wake the sleeping beings filled with heart ache You shift through the dusty air, so fast that no one sees you there you dance on the currents, with static filled stormy flair through the cotton wool clouds, all murky and grey you tear a hole to allow the sun to appear and brighten the day Check Out My Blog Https://wordsandfluff.blogspot.com Facebook https://www.facebook.com/wordsandfluff/ Twitter @kylecoare My Books are all available on Amazon, Check them out if you wish https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kyle-Coare/e/B07GWQTN4M

Seasons keep turning, like the hands on a clock tick tock, the pendulum rocks, as we take stock days pass, the weather changes on the fly spring into summer, a gull cries into autumnal skies Spring buds a new flower bloom, the last day of gloom winter hums its final tune, alone under a bright new moon a first kiss, as new love sways like a tree in the breeze knocks you off your feet, spring just a tease of summers easy days Seasons change quickly, days keep passing so briskly memories of summer in the park, or on the beach spent with glee they keep flooding me, brief reminders of yesterday when we used to run and play, nothing could scare us away The orange autumn call, like waterfalls of amber blossom teardrops leaves fall in golden raindrops from the tree tops ground shrouded with remnants of summer's passing, in the sky clouds amass to watch as the days are drawing, and the nights begin to trespass Winter falls as the last chime is called the bells ring out for one and all the year ends as it begins, a crash of gunpowder to see it in the cycle starts again, a web of tangled memories, the endless threads we spin  Thanks for reading. Microscopic internal views, x-ray mind sees through looking inwards, the reality comes true I see my flaws for the first time I'm floored, still a long way to climb Underneath layers of dirt, x-ray eyes see clear interior trials, my innermost fear the life unlived, the years unfulfilled a shiver up my spine, the bones chilled Beneath the mountains of flesh, the valley of scars x-ray vision reveals a torn heart, dead like the landscape of mars Long turned to dust, red ashes of past tears cried cinders from the fires that burned inside The cracks seen through x-ray specs never heal, but they get easier to accept you learn to adapt, adopt a new stance take a few steps and earn your chance Thanks for reading, Peace & Love Kyle https://wordsandfluff.blogspot.com ko-fi.com/kylecoare

Fast asleep, adrift in dreams so sweet the most relaxed I've been in many a week then a sudden pain in my chest a stabbing piercing weight, takes my breath Stood on high, like a climber atop a mountain peak she stands staring deep into my eyes, my soul, if dogs could speak How dare I get so comfortable, in my own bed as I am pushed to sleep head against the wall instead I dare to roll over, a growl, my leg cramped against the wall something wet against my back, her favourite ball the look of anger in her eyes, the battle is on how dare I wake her, she sighs, the score is 1 - 1 I start to slip, sleep starts to take grip, about to doze the duvet has deserted me, I'm froze a sudden draught, its getting cold, my bones chill snoring away in bliss, my little dog sleeps so still Banished from the room, I may be but never would I trade her, you see she has heard my every secret, my cries at night she is there when I'm in pain, to give cuddles against fright She keeps me warm when the night is cold her snoring is relaxing helps the sleep take hold she helps me to drift away that is until she hears a noise, and goes barking merrily Thanks for reading. An alien to this swarming room feels like a deathly tomb try to fit, to click into the groove but in here, can barely move A misfit, I missed a bit the part where I cant sit in these crowded places with all the judging faces Took a wrong turning on the way to mars landed in a life far from the stars try to talk, but its like I'm speaking in tongues fear sucks the air from my lungs Want to be away, another planet, a different day far from this world of hurt, stress and decay but stuck in this crowd, head bowed daydreams of a land past the stars, brain starts to cloud But where can I go from here have no spaceship near no way out, no escape plan so I take to the floor and dance like a human Thanks for reading, Peace & Love. All just actors, life is the stage different characters, written on the page many tales to tell, so let the stories flow give them all you've got, let your words go Like a theatre, fiction at play some watch from the wings, whilst others act away don't be an understudy, take your place under the glare of lights, enjoy the space When it is time, you will shine don't let fear bind or blind, don't fluff the lines let your smile sing, let your love bloom don't leave the audience feeling the gloom Don't hide behind a mask, don't run from the night you deserve the praise, enjoy the spotlight live your dreams, let them create the show this life is an epic fairy tale, you are the star aglow  Thanks for reading. Chasing daydreams fleeting silent visions bathed in sunbeams trying to catch them as they float by smoky wisps of fantasy that fly high Rainbow embers from the fires of imagination kaleidoscopic sparkles show the way, the journey, a mind vacation try to contain them, but they always break free lighting the sky with glee Collecting memories, seeking lost yesterdays fading melodies, sounds soaked in a sepia haze falling, failing, I don't land I'm flying through clouds of ideas, images so mystifying Musing through the mind's dreamscape, colours abound gloom cut down, in a daze, I'm spellbound reality a fairground ride, stories we tell to hide all the doubts we hold deep inside Thanks for reading, Peace & Love Kyle https://wordsandfluff.blogspot.com

Dead leaves, rotting down rejoining the ground, my fear painted frown as I collect my mind, in this season of hurt from the autumnal decay, like these piles of dirt Bare trees, hide no sins naked branches just like torn skin after too many drinks the knife cuts in and the sap pours, red again Cold skies, like my heart lies emotionless, in its darkest guise dulled to the pain, from a constant barrage now just a husk, a shell to discard Wet ground, from when the tears laid waste left stains, pain ingrained on my face now can no longer cry, the well has been emptied the tears have run dry

Cant keep it all together mood is like the weather how can I be strong for you when my tears wet me through Like a storm lighting up the night causes tension to rise the pain in my mind like an electrical surge as the loud rumble of my mood crashes, singing a dirge Like the rains flowing down my face the salty taste, they cause rivers to race a feeling so natural, clears the mind but they bring hurt in kind The blistering sun, a heatwave, my temperature rises as the hate filled voice criticises causes my face to redden, I want to be hidden retreat from this world that I don't fit in As hail stones hit my skin, left bruised they come in waves to knock my mood, can I be excused? want to stay under cover away from the onslaught but if I lay then my mind will fill with thoughts A blizzard to cool the strain, numbs the brain left to feel drained when the thaws bring the pain the aches that the cold brings to the bones hold me down, not letting me find the right tones A calm day, just what I needed, through the worst an energy burst, a chance at last to embrace life head first to find my feet, to beat down the dark clouds to escape from the darkness that enshrouds Thanks for reading. Peace & love. Kyle.

A mental block, brain locked, thoughts shot dead words stuck in the furthest reaches of my head cant connect the dots, to let my imagination soar or find an emotion to start this downpour Want to close up, stay in bed, let the dreams fly to inspire, to find a thread to pick, to kiss today goodbye but then my mood will float like a stone and my words will have the wrong tone The flow feels wrong, the feelings I cant shout about creative spark fizzled out, just left here filled with doubt all the stories have dried up, in lockup think maybe my brain is fried up What if that is it, if there are no more words to write? have I written all I have, are the words finite? or is this just a bad day, with little to say and will I wake with a sea of reflection to convey? Thanks for reading. Peace & Love. Kyle.

Bruised, battered and blue, hope gave way to gloom doomed, long way from home, alone in this waiting room a shadow man, a stony grimace, the skeletal hand death stands, in this cold unpleasant land Stomach hurts, swollen feet, blood flows free no control of my faculties, can barely see mouths speak, sound out of sync lay here on the brink A rush, pushed, pulled, room to think could really use a drink, start to sink the colour leaves as the darkness descends brain closing down, feels like the end Awake, a break, the room still grey, smells of bleach wish this was a beach, the pain clings on like a leach cant get released, too far to turn back lips crack, hurt like Ive been tortured on the rack Floating, flowing, freedom, flying higher feels less dire, has my body called a ceasefire rooms start making sense, no longer out of focus colour comes back a day at a time I noticed Smiles, hugs, hands held tight heart feels light, surrounded by love, not fright a step on the journey, feet feel weak been here for weeks, but can now find the life I seek Thanks for reading, Peace & Love. Slap on your smiles, painted to look the part flash the flesh, surely the way to his heart you lay back think happy thoughts, think you know love think it should be easy, another thing you feel unworthy of Always searching, something else, to ease the clouded brain to sweep you off your feet, to erase all the past pain none offers what you really seek, someone who sees beneath it all who understands, that the outside is just screaming as it falls You show all you have on offer, to crush your own doubt it helps to forget, let the hurt creep out you lay it out for all to view, you think they show love its just a game for them, a night of fun they can dispose of The world can offer more, if you open your heart let the love inside rather than depart not just a physical attraction, a connection of sorts where minds find time to bind, hearts entwine in support Not just a contact sport a sharing of like thoughts where the words light up the night like stars above  they shine so bright, they shine like love

Another day atop this scrapheap too many layers deep, I weep trash pile collapses, an avalanche the detritus of another failed romance Disposed of, rejected with the rest a throw away lover, heart unexpressed in landfill for not being shiny and new the scattered refuse of love untrue Binned as you got bored needed a new toy, best you can afford sent to the tip, dumped in this dark hole debris of years of tears, hearts, flowers, my soul Seen as junk, garbage no longer wanted, discarded unbroken, needs repair, cleaning, not disregarded trash can be treasured, can be recycled, reused this heart not forever damaged, just bruised Thanks for reading. Walked away as the lights flicked on in my head had too much been said, I fled messages reread in my head to see if they misled, fear bled into dread Could be misread, was the message too openly worded the thing with words on a page is they can so easily be mistranslated especially when the writer fears being read What if the writer struggles to speak can his words still make sense, be released are they so deeply held that any deviation derives different reactions to the questions within In this time of social media, a message can cause conflict just from the wrong emoji shown to the misunderstood tone an autocorrect fail can make you sound out of line so I walk away, sometimes, to help collect the mind So quick and easy to say your piece, you just hit send many ways this can be the cause of a friendships end a heart left broken, so think before you let the words get spoken or walk away for just a brief moment spoken, written, nothing shows the truth like the look in the eyes those moments where the room goes silent, except two beating hearts the way the lips part, when close the only words that count are those Thanks for readng. Peace and love. Kyle

Footprints in the sand, a sign of our time shared will blow away in time, like dust in the warm air today they stand out, against the golden ground on this secluded beach, where our love was found This image in the sand, our feet, a heart drawn around in time, the tide will wash away, other stories will be crowned our hearts so close, our rose still only budding our footprints glory in the bliss, that first kiss, loving Footsteps on the beach, two sets together drawn an image that shows of a love forever sworn that day we stood, sand beneath, and spoke of a life complete a time with you and me, a life of joy, a treat Footprints so close together, as we hold on tight as this special day draws to a close, into night the cool sea air cleans as our love infects our dreams Thank you for reading. Peace and love, Kyle.

Gunshots shatter this cool night another light shot out, lost the fight the calm smashed like a dropped glass as the sirens blare, blasting out en masse Victims of the system when no one listens, a blade often glistens when there is no hope, no money, no futures any shock that our country is flowing into the sewers? A tattered state, a bloodstained shirt the poor always the first to lose the fight, so much hurt crime the only way, to get a pay day, until it stops dead and we end with another life lost, tears shed Will we learn our lessons? give the young a chance, hear their message, beat the depression let them live with dreams, to be worthy, a life to be lived rather than the screams for mercy, of the deprived Thanks for reading, peace and love. Kyle. (and check out my first book prisoner of the mind)

Burn it all down, bring an end to this pain the thoughts that live in the deep parts of the brain too much to take, too hard to turn from old recollections so let those memories burn, all those past reflections Watch as the blaze takes hold, engulfs, tears through old tears evaporating, they drift away as do the fears still too hard to let go of you so burn away those pictures I no longer want to view The burning embers of memories, exposing as they go floating by twinkling in the dark night, scars of stars exploding in the sky let the past become ash in the cool air burn away the reminders of the days when I believed you could care So light a match to the past, watch as the flames leap away as they clear the surrounding fog, get stronger every day the memories fade, the pain of the past denied the smoke eases, the fire burnt out, a new fire burns inside Thanks for reading, peace and love.
