Hi,

I'm Lisa Griffiths from Rockport MA. By trade I'm an entrepreneur with a local snack business in New England. I'm also a published author and a Victorian & Edwardian historian/speaker. My author name is Victoriana Lady Lisa.

Books have been my best friends since I was a very young child. I'm a survivor of child abuse. The library was my safe place where I was able to escape amongst the pages of a book. Later in life, I survived domestic abuse. Writing poetry and journaling have been my strength along the way. I write poetry to process my pain. I hope one day my humble scribblings will encourage others to know that they're not alone, and not give up. Words can hurt, but they can also heal.

I recently had my first poem published in Removing Chains of Child Abuse with Writing For The Soul Workshop and TGIM Publishing. I am humbled.
